Kakaomælk, følelser og YOLO ...

— Thousands of colors — translation of a danish song by Rasmus Seebach

This is such a powerful song. The lyrics mean a lot to me.
It brightens a dark day and makes me feel a little bit better when I struggle.

Let me into your mind for a while
Listen, my dear friend, it’s okay that you’re in pain
I know that you are hurting
You don’t have to act like a hero
Ask for help

Even soldiers get fragile like glass
When dark thoughts take root and get stuck
Break loose from your anxiety now
Life is waiting for you
Follow me

So you can see thousands of colors in the darkness
The fireworks in life
Sing – then we can drown the silence
on a rainy day in November

Just because everything’s falling apart right now
Doesn’t mean that you are all broken to pieces
I know your prison is dark as coal
Come – let’s break a hole

This has been going on way too long
Time has stalled in your apartement
Open your window
Let the sunshine into your mind

So you can see thousands of colors in the darkness
The fireworks in life
Sing – then we drown the silence
on a rainy day in November

You are not alone
Sing – then we can drown the silence
You are not alone
Sing – then we can drown the silence,
Together
